These programs have been lifelines for so many families navigating difficult seasons. 

It is imperative that we and our loved ones face health challenges with dignity and security, especially in our later years. That’s why protecting Medicare for our seniors and preserving Medicaid for those who are truly vulnerable feels like a sacred promise worth keeping.

At the same time, we can strengthen them with care: rooting out fraud that drains resources meant for the needy, expanding price transparency so families can make informed choices, encouraging competition to lower costs, and supporting rural providers who serve communities far from big cities. By resisting a full federal takeover, we keep decisions closer to the people who know their needs best.
